All the six accused in the December 13 Parliament security breach incident underwent confrontation by the Delhi police on Wednesday to corroborate whether the sequence of events shared by each of them matches, reported ANI. 


All the six accused were kept in different units of Delhi Police's Special Cell where they underwent sustained interrogation. 


Following the questioning, all of them were handed over to the Counter Intelligence Unit office of the Special Cell, the unit that has been probing the matter. 


Out of all the six accused, the seven-day custody of accused Manoranjan, Amol, Sagar and Neelam will expire Thursday. 






On Monday, a three-member special team of Delhi Police reached Kolkata and went to different places where Jha has been staying during his stay there, reported PTI quoting a source as saying. 


On Tuesday, the Delhi Police team visited a flat in Kolkata in connection with its investigation to find more details about Lalit Jha, the arrested mastermind in the case, reported the news agency quoting an officer as saying. 


The team went to the flat on Rabindra Sarani along with a team of Kolkata Police from Girish Park Police station and scrutinised the entire place and spoke to the landlord, he said.

They also visited a flat in Baguihati along with police from Eco Park police station and did their part of the investigation there, he added.


As per the officer, Jha's family was staying at the Baguihati flat even three days before the Parliament security breach incident. 


The team also spoke to the locals and later in the afternoon, went  to the BSNL office in the city's Dalhousie area, the Kolkata Police officer said.


Two men jumped in the Lok Sabha chamber on December 13 and released smoke from canisters while the House was in session.
