Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE: Opposition has chalked out a strategy to corner the government over the Pegasus snoopgate row in the Parliament.
The Parliament has approved the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2021 with its passage in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. It was put forth by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman after Lokl Sabha passed the Bill on July 28 without discussion amid sloganeering from the Opposition.

Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE: Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with 17 opposition leaders to chalk out out a joint strategy to lead the debate over the Pegasus snoopgate row. Rahul Gandhi's move comes to make the opposition intact.
Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena, RJD, SP, CPI(M), CPI, IUML, Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), Kerala Congress (M), Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, National Conference, TMC and Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) participated in the breakfast meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also targeted the opposition in the BJP meet and said that not allowing the Parliament to function in a smooth manner is disrespecting the Constitution. Centre has been approaching the opposition to end the impasse to allow the Parliament to function but both the parties are in a standoff over the Pegasus issue.
