Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE: Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been disrupted again after the opposition created a huge uproar over the Pegasus snoopgate issue.
Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu says issues can be taken up for discussion in the House only with broad agreement. He met leaders of parties whose members are disrupting the proceedings. Naidu further expressed concern over disruptions for the 12th day today & urged leaders to do the needful to enable the return of normalcy in the House in the context of broad agreement among various sections of the House to discuss farmers’ issues, price rise, unemployment
All TMC MPs who were withdrawn from the Rajya Sabha for a day are currently protesting inside the Parliament, near the entrance to Rajya Sabha chamber. Marshals are deployed for them.
After much uproar by the opposition, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha adjourned till 2 pm.

Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned till 2 pm amid massive protests by the opposition leaders over the Pegasus spyware controversy and various other issues.
The Opposition has accused centre of “bulldozing” Bills by denying them their legitimate right of discussion. Both the houses have been disrupted after continuous protest by the opposition. However, few bills were cleared in the Parliament which includes: Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Amendment Bill, 2021, Factoring Amendment Bill, 2021, The General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Bill, 2021, Tribunal Reforms Bill, 2021.

Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE: Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla warned the opposition parties creating ruckus inside the house and said that the way way opposition leaders are behaving is an insult to the house and the chair. Birla asked the opposition parties to allow the house to function normally with healthy debates and discussion over various issues.
For the last few days, the business of both the Houses of the Parliament remained majorly disrupted due to the continuous ruckus created by the Opposition over issues including farmers' protest, Pegasus spyware, COVID-19 and inflation.
The Monsoon Session commenced on July 19, 2021, and will continue till August 13, 2021.
