New Delhi: Pankaja Munde who was recently divested of the Water Conservation and Employment Guarantee Scheme portfolios, gave a bitter tweet that drew an instant response from Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and condemnation from the opposition over the public discussion on a private matter.
On Sunday, Pankaja , the daughter of BJP's late senior member Gopinath Munde, tweets to congratulate her newly inducted successors for water and employment guarantee scheme, Ram Shinde and Jaikumar Rawal, respectively. Knowing that she no longer holds the water conservation department, Munde says that she would not be participating in the global summit for water leaders, which begins in Singapore on Monday. Fadnavis, who is abroad, quickly responded to her tweet, by saying, that she should be attending the WLS 2016 and represent 'The Government of Maharashtra' as a senior Minister.
