Panipar (Haryana): Self-styled spiritual leader Radhe Maa’s supporters on Sunday allegedly assaulted a TV journalist and tried to abduct him in a car. According to reports, the journalist had asked a question to Radhe Maa while she was at a Kanwar Shivir and it irked her supporters. To prevent him further asking questions, her followers pulled him out, beat him up and tried to shove him into a vehicle. Reports say Radhe Maa’s supporters took umbrage at the journalist Jitendra Sharma’s question of “why is that wherever you go a controversy erupts?” and stopped him posing further questions. As he objected to it, Sharma was then roughed up and forced to enter a vehicle. As chaos prevailed, policemen at the venue intervened and contained the situation. The journalist was provided security and was later dropped at his residence by police officials. A case has been registered against the attackers. Radhe Maa’s brushes with the law
