Lahore: Pakistani model Nayab Nadeem was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Lahore's Defence B area on Sunday, July 11. 


As reported by Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the 29-year-old Nayab Nadeem, who was a model by profession, was strangulated to death by unknown suspects at her house.


Media reports quoting Station SHO Nayyar Nisar said that while post-mortem report remains awaited to further shet light on the case, the police suspect that the that the model was strangulated. 


The police have filed First Information Report of the incident on the complaint of her step-brother Mohammad Ali Nasir. As per the details mentioned in the FIR, Ali found her body lying on the floor when he came to visit her. 


Nayab reportedly lived alone in the house and she wasn't married. In the wee hours of Saturday, she went to Gulberg to eat ice cream in a car with her stepbrother Nasir. Later, Nasir dropped his stepsister near her residence in Defence area. 


When she called Nasir afterwords, he counld't pick call but later visited her. Upon reaching her place, Nasir found window lattice of the washroom broken. He entered through the same window and found his sister's naked body lying in the TV lounge. He stated that there were some marks on the body and neck of victim. 


Earlier, model Qandeel Baloch was strangled to death at her home in Punjab by her brother Wasim in 2016.
