New Delhi: Pakistan has once again pressed the Kashmir-nerve immediately after the election of the new government. In a fresh statement, country’s newly elected Foreign Affairs Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday said Kashmir is still an issue between the India and Pakistan.

“Both the countries will have to understand that Kashmir is still an issue between India and Pakistan” he said.

He further claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approached Pakistan and has sought to begin dialogue between the countries.

India, however, has denied Pakistan minister's claims on talks. According to top diplomatic sources, PM Modi wrote a letter to Imran Khan to congratulate him but there was mention of dialogues in it.

“Modi wrote to Imran Khan and sought beginning of dialogue between two countries”.

Even PM Imran Khan had spoken about improving relations between the countries stating that “We would like to improve relations with neighbouring countries”.
