The Pakistan High Commission in India has issued a visa to one Sika Khan, allowing him to meet his family members in Pakistan, with whom he was separated during partition in 1947.
"Pakistan High Commission issues visa to Sika Khan to visit his brother, Mohammed Siddique, and other family members in Pakistan," the embassy announced on Twitter.
Sika Khan's story had come to the limelight after a video of him meeting his brother at the Kartarpur Corridor had gone viral. The two brothers, Sika Khan and Mohammed Siddique met at the Kartarpur Gurudwara after 74 years.
It was reported that with the help of social media Habib's family located his elderly brother and planned a get-together at Kartarpur Corridor when it opened for Indian pilgrims.

According to Dawn, Siddique is 80 while Khan is 78 years old. As per Siddique, the brothers were separated as Khan along with his sister and mother had gone to visit their grandmother. "A civil war was raging on and my father and other family members decided to migrate immediately to save lives and we came to Pakistan," Siddique said.
The Pakistan High Commission said Khan also met with CDA Aftab Hasan Khan and interacted with the mission's officers, the report said.
"I am so happy. I have received the visa. I will travel now and meet (my brother)," Sika Khan said in a video message recorded at the embassy.
The story of the two brothers is a powerful illustration of how the historic opening of the visa-free Kartarpur Sahib Corridor by Pakistan is bringing people closer to each other, the Pakistan High Commission said.
