New Delhi: This is the biggest scam of the year and must be investigated, said ex-Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday in Nagpur while addressing media on demonetisation.


"I cannot get Rs 2000 note. How crores in Rs 2000 notes found their way to individuals being raided all over the country?," questioned P Chidambaram and added-"What calculations did the government do to say that one can withdraw Rs 24000 when banks don't have enough cash to dispense."

"Just like Dr Manmohan Singh said, this is monumental mismanagement", he said.
