Onam 2018: The festival of Onam is celebrated with much enthusiam in not only Kerala, but by Malayalis everywhere around the world. However, being the state festival of Kerala, it witnesses one of the most popular celebrations in the country India. Onam is commemorated as the homecoming of King Mahabali, a legendary king, who ruled Kerala in ancient times. All castes and communities who believe in the legend of King Mahabali celebrate Onam with full zest. The celebrations span over ten days. This year, the ten-day festival began on August 15 and the main day of the celebration is August 25.
Even though Kerala floods have lowered down the spirit of the festival this year, but still you can boost the morale of your loved ones with these kind words. Make them feel special!
