130 people who travelled to India from abroad are still missing in the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Moradabad Health Department report, 519 people from abroad came to Moradabad in the past, out of which 130 are missing. In such a situation, there is a fear that Omicron may spread in the election season.


This news has created panic among the locals of Moradabad.

But the addresses of these 130 people either turned out to be wrong or the phone numbers are incorrect. Now they can't be traced or contacted. Omicron has spread to 77 countries of the world, so it is difficult to say who could be a potential carrier of the new variant. 



Number of Omicron cases in India: 61


With the detection of the new cases of Omicron, the variant which has triggered global alarm and prompted another round of travel restrictions, Maharashtra's tally now stands at 28 and India's at 61. Four new cases of the Omicron variant have been confirmed in Delhi. With this, the total cases in the capital Delhi have gone up to 6. All the patients have been admitted to LNJP Hospital.


At the same time, in the midst of the threat of Omicron, all government and private schools are opening in Mumbai on Wednesday. Earlier, due to the threat of Omicron, the opening of schools in Mumbai was postponed. 


Under the Centre's new travel guidelines, RT-PCR tests are mandatory for passengers arriving from the "at-risk" countries and they can only leave the airport only after the results come.
