Guwahati: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat assured that no Indian citizen will be wrongfully impacted by CAA. Muslim citizens of India will not be treated unfairly under CAA. He said that an assurance was given to minorities in the country at the time of partition, that they would be taken care of. We have been keeping it up till date. Pakistan did not provide any such assurance.

The RSS chief added, “No Muslim will have any problem with the CAA. CAA and NRC have nothing to do with Hindu-Muslim divide; It was communalised for political gains."

Along with this, he said, "Since 1930, there were efforts to increase the number of Muslims in a planned manner. The idea was that by increasing the population, they would establish their supremacy and then make this country an Islamic Republic. This plan was aimed at Punjab, Sindh, Assam and Bengal, and to some extent, it did happen. India was divided and Pakistan was born. But it didn't totally go as they expected."

Mohan Bhagwat said, “We need not learn secularism, socialism, democracy from the world. It is in our blood and in overvalues. Our country has kept these values alive over the years, by implementing them."  He said this while addressing a program in Guwahati.
