New Delhi: Taking a dig at Nitish Kumar after he formed an alliance with BJP-led NDA to form the government in Bihar, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad's daughter Rohini Acharya on Sunday said the "garbage has gone into the dustbin". In less than 18 months after joining the Mahagathbandhan with RJD, Nitish resigned as the Chief Minister of Bihar saying "things were not working well" for him in the alliance.
"Garbage goes back into the dustbin. Happy stinking garbage to the group", Rohini Acharya posted on 'X'.
Nitish Kumar's move has changed the political landscape for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls which saw the formation of the I.N.D.I.A bloc to take on the ruling BJP.
On Thursday, Acharya's post had stoked a controversy. The post was deleted later. Following the row, the RJD claimed that her social media posts were aimed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and not Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

"Comments made in another context are withdrawn when vested interests use these for political purposes," an RJD leader had told reporters when asked about the deleted posts on X, in which Acharya, who is based in Singapore, had mentioned no leader by name.
Screenshots of Acharya’s deleted posts went viral on social media, one of which stated, “those, who are ideologically adrift, claim to be the champions of socialism". This was construed as an indirect attack on the Bihar CM, the RJD's ally, who had decried "dynasty politics" a day back.
Nitish Kumar took oath for the ninth time as the Bihar Chief Minister with his two deputies, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha from the BJP.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, responding to Nitish Kumar's said, "It is not surprising that Nitish Kumar has resigned. He is a seasoned politician. He has been a Chief Minister for several years. But he keeps changing his political colours. He gives a tough challenge to chameleons."
