New Delhi: NIA has once again done a huge investigation in Delhi and Amroha. The investigative agency has nabbed 4 more accused from both the places. This is NIA’s second raid in one week. In Delhi, raids were conducted at Seelampur and Jaffrabad. The cops were able to seize several ISIS pamphlets and weapons from those arrested. The police are current quizzing the suspects.


Earlier NIA had raided 17 places in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and had nabbed 10 people. The investigative agency had termed Amroha mosque’s maulvi as the head of this extremist group. Mufti Sohail is a resident of Amroha, UP and was staying in Delhi’s Zaffrabad.

As per NIA, this group was preparing for a terror attack. The group named Haqat-Ul-Herb-e-Islam was inspired by ISIS. Now, the probe agency has done a fresh raid after a tip-off from suspected terrorist Mufti Sohail.

What all has been seized?

After last arrest the NIA has seized large amount of explosives. The agency has found local rocket launcher, 12 pistols, 120 alarm clocks, 100 mobile phones, 135 sim cards, many laptops, several electronic appliances and 150 round explosives.

The arrested suspects also attempted to make bullet proof jackets, which were seized in Amroha.
