Leaders of the ruling National Democratic Alliance held a meeting on Wednesday to strategise dispelling "fake narratives" by Congress including its allegations on remarks of Amit Shah pertaining to Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
The meeting was held on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Pratap Rao Jadhav from Shiv Sena, Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh from JDU, HD Kumar Swamy from JDS, Sanjay Nishad from Nishad Party, Jitan Ram Manjhi from HAM, Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal.
Earlier in the meeting, the leaders were congratulated for winning the Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections and Uttar Pradesh bypolls.
The leaders held a long discussion on the strategy for better coordination among the alliance. The leaders expressed their views on a host of issues including One Nation, One Election and issues related to Ambedkar.
According to sources, Shah informed the meeting about the mistakes Congress made in implementing the Constitution, particularly regarding the Ambedkar controversy. The statement about Ambedkar was taken out of context, Shah said, adding a toolkit was created long after the statement and only a part of it was made viral.

It was decided among all parties to expose Congress to the public during the meeting.
Shah urged NDA leaders not to get distracted towards unnecessary controversies fanned by Congress and other opposition parties and to focus on positive governance initiatives and delivering results on the ground.
The meeting also discussed ways to explore coordination within the NDA noting that a Cabinet Minister and Minister of State should work closely with MPs to address their concerns and provide necessary support effectively.
"Attended the NDA leaders' meeting in New Delhi today. Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji, India is achieving unprecedented milestones and has positioned itself as a global superpower. The NDA government remains steadfast in its pursuit of the vision of 'Viksit Bharat@2047,' ensuring a brighter and more prosperous future for all," Nadda said in a post on X.
