Ahead of the Ram Temple consecration in Ayodhya, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah has said Lord Ram does not only belong to Hindus but to everyone in the world. He said Lord Ram talked of brotherhood, love and unity and emphasised raising people who fell and never asked about their religion. The NC chief congratulated the devotees on the consecration ceremony, scheduled to be held next month, and said he would like to congratulate everyone who made the effort for the temple.


"Ayodhya Ram Temple is about to be inaugurated. I would like to congratulate everyone who made the effort for the temple. It's ready now. I would like to tell everyone that Lord Ram doesn't only belong to Hindus, they belong to everyone in the world. It's written in the books," he said.






"He has talked about brotherhood, love and unity. He always emphasized raising the people from the ground and never asked their religion...language. He delivered a universal message...Now that this temple is about to open, I want to tell everyone to maintain that brotherhood," the former J&K CM said in Poonch.


His remarks came on the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate railway projects, newly constructed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham and other development projects as well.
