New Delhi: Indian army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan on Wednesday night for conducting Uri attacks in Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 18 Indian soldiers. India conducted surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the LoC where significant casualties have been caused, told DGMO in a media briefing on Thursday.

Ever after the Uri attacks, several questions were being raised as to when India would respond to the attacks by Pakistan.

Right after the MEA and DGMO briefing, the social media could be seen flooded with posts and messaging lauding Indian army and the centre government.

Posts like “We are proud of you Indian Army” and “56 inch revenge against Pakistan” could be seen all over Facebook and Twitter.

During the briefing India’s DGMO also informed that he called Pakistan DGMO on Wednesday night and informed about them about India’s surgical strikes.

Even opposition seemed united in favour of the strikes done by India and seemed praising the action by the Indian Army.
