Mumbai: A man was arrested by Oshiwara police for secretly filming his his neighbour's wife in bathroom. Thirty-year-old Saddam Shaikh, who drives taxi and lives in Jogeshwari's Behram Baug area, was arrested on Wednesday.

The woman spotted a mobile phone wedged in the gap between the bathroom's roof and the common wall separating her tenement from Shaikh's room and informed her husband about the despicable act.

She and her husband filed a complaint at Oshiwara police station following which Shaikh was arrested.

His phone was sent to a forensic science lab for examination.

Earlier this month, the Oshiwara police booked a Lokhandwala-based doctor for allegedly filming a 27-year-old woman while she was undergoing a body hair removal procedure at his Andheri clinic. Reports say the complainant had noticed a camera installed inside the smoke detector on the ceiling. After spotting it, she immediately asked the doctor to stop the treatment and took a photo of the camera and left the clinic and after a couple of days approached the police.
