New Delhi: In a shocking case, actor Manoj Goel's wife, Neelima Manoj Goyal, reportedly, committed suicide in Mumbai.

She hanged herself, on Saturday, at her house in Kandivali. The incident took place at around 3 pm.

She has left behind a suicide note which reportedly said no one should be held responsible for her act and at the time of the incident, Neelima was alone at home.

A case has been registered in Samta Nagar police station under ADR no. 99/17. It says, a house wife namely Neelima Manoj Goyal, age 40, committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Lokhandwala, Kandivali. She was staying with her husband and daughter.

The matter came to light when her eight-year-old daughter returned from tuition class. She found the doors locked from inside and no one responding to her repeated calls.

Further inquiry is being carried out and as of now, nothing suspicious is found.

Goel had acted in films like "Bunty Aur Babli", Company and some other.
