New Delhi: Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday offered a special chadar at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer on the occasion of the 810th annual Urs. This was presented on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shortly before, PM Narendra Modi presented Chadar to be offered at Ajmer Sharif Dargah to Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.


Naqvi presented a chadar on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the 810th Annual Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Dargah Ajmer Sharif and conveyed his message to the people of all sections of the society present in large numbers on Sunday.


Union Minister Naqvi said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for Sufis, sanskar of saints and resolve for inclusive empowerment of society is a vision to make India a vishwa guru. 






Along with sending chadar to the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, Prime Minister Modi conveyed the message of tolerance and harmony, that minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi read out in front of everyone while offering the chadar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his message, said unity in diversity is india's identity. The harmonious co-existence of different religions, sects and beliefs in the country is our specialty.






At the same time, PM Modi said that saints, mahatmas, pirs and fakirs have played an important role in strengthening the socio-cultural fabric of the country in different period. In this regard, the name of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is taken with full respect and reverence, who spread the message of love and harmony in the society.


The chadar sent by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed with full respect by the Anjuman Committee of the Dargah and presented at the 'Darbar' of Khwaja Garib Nawaz. Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi said that today the world is looking at PM Narendra Modi as a symbol of world peace with hope and confidence. This is the result of the blessings of Sufi saints.
