New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal welcomed their twin babies, a boy and a girl, on Saturday, their families said.

“We are delighted to share that our children Isha and Anand have been blessed by the Almighty with twins on 19th November 2022. Isha and the babies, baby girl Aadiya and baby boy Krishna are doing well. We seek your blessings and good wishes for Aadiya, Krishna, Isha and Anand in this most important phase of their life,” the media statement read.

Isha Ambani, the daughter of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, and Anand Piramal, son of industrialist Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal, tied the knot on December 12, 2018 in Mumbai.

Anand Piramal, who holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, is the founder of Piramal Realty, one of India's most admired real estate companies. Before Piramal Realty, Anand had founded Piramal Swasthya, a rural healthcare initiative, that treats as many as 40,000 patients every day.

Anand Piramal is also the Executive Director of the Piramal Group, a global business conglomerate.

Earlier, in an interview with Vogue magazine, Isha Ambani had revealed what her life was like growing up with two boys.

She had shared that she being the only girl, was by default the naughtiest, as her brother used to play pranks on her.

"I was the only girl with four boys at home. It was Akash, Anant, Anmol, Anshul and me. So by default, I had to be naughty to survive. If I tried to be anything else, I wouldn't be included in all their games and fun. I grew up very much a tomboy. At home, there was no gender bias. I was never told that because you're a girl, you can't do this or that,” she had said.
