Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit in the engine area may have caused the fire.
The driver managed to stop the car on the highway, preventing further damage or loss of life. However, the fire caused a significant traffic jam as vehicles were halted while emergency services were alerted. Attibele police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the fire and manage the traffic disruption.

Meanwhile, the incident began when a bike rider noticed sparks coming from a car and alerted the driver. Upon receiving the warning, the driver stopped to inspect the vehicle. However, as soon as he opened the bonnet, the car ignited, and the fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire vehicle.
Fortunately, the driver escaped without injuries. The fire, which started near the engine, rapidly spread to other parts of the car. The Parappana Agrahara police promptly contacted the fire department and firefighters from the Electronic City Fire Station responded quickly, successfully extinguishing the blaze.
