Sources inform ABP Live, Delkar's driver knocked on his hotel room at 11 am on Monday. On getting no response from the inside he informed the hotel staff and management and raised an alert. The driver also informed the family of the MP who tried calling him in order to reach him.
At around 1.50 pm, the driver jumped into the balcony of the room where the MP was staying and saw Mohan Delkar hanging from the fan. The hotel staff immediately called the police and apprised them about the situation.
Mumbai Police informed that the hotel's structure is such that it was not easy to take down the door and for that reason, it took such a long time to get inside. Mohan Delkar had checked in the hotel on Sunday evening.
