Sharif is the 20th and current Prime Minister of Pakistan, in office since June 2013.
On Sunday, PM Narendra Modi will also address the nation on the radio with "Mann Ki Baat" at 11 AM.
It is expected that apart from other topics, Modi may talk on demonetisation.
