Arogya Setu App To Tackle Coronavirus Pandemic

Aarogya Setu app, which became popular as the Covid-19 situation turned grim leaving nearly 2,450 people dead, has registered more than 10-crore users. The app has turned out to be the most downloaded free app on both Android and iOS. The app was the government’s initiative to monitor the movement of Covid-19 affected people and tracking the possible hotspots across the country.

E-GramSwaraj Web Portal/ Moble App To Digitize Gram Panchayat Level

PM Narendra Modi launched the e-GramSwaraj portal and mobile app which helps prepare and execute Gram Panchayat Development Plans. The portal will ensure real time monitoring and accountability. The portal is a major step towards digitization down to the Gram Panchayat level.

The application has a detailed breakdown of state-wise accounts. It also has a Public Financial Management System (PFMS) state-wise integration chart. According to this, Karnataka, Odisha, Assam, and Uttar Pradesh are integrated fully. Haryana, Punjab, and Chhattisgarh are in the 90 percent bracket while nine states, including Gujarat and Kerala, are yet to get started.
