Meerut: An incident of UP’s Meerut has come to light recently where four sisters who were forced to leave their studies in Madarasa due to fear of molestation at the hands of local goons, wrote to PM about their insecurity.

The four sisters had to quit studies after being perturbed by four boys living in their neighbourhood. Despite remaining indoors, the goons entered their house and started teasing and threatening them. The sisters have alleged that the police also overlooked their complaint.

As their final resort, they wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi narrating their grievances.

After the matter caught attention of media, police officials became pro-active in the matter and have ensured strict action.

One of the complainants said: “We are four sisters living under constant threat of molestation by four boys. Our father stopped us from going to Madarasa when we told him about the problem. Despite this, they are not letting us live with peace inside our houses. They barged into our house, passed vulgar comments and have even threatened us of acid attack if we sought police help".
