Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to resume his monthly radio broadcast 'Mann Ki Baat' on Sunday after securing a third term in office in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. On June 18, Modi had announced that this month's programme will begin on Sunday, June 30.
"Delighted to share that after a gap of some months due to the elections, #MannKiBaat is back," he said in a post on X, adding, "This month's programme will take place on Sunday, 30th June."
He called upon the citizens of India to share thier ideas and inputs for the radio programme. "Write on the MyGov Open Forum, NaMo App or record your message on 1800 11 7800," Modi said.
The last episode of Mann Ki Baat was aired on February 25 and was stopped later with the Model Code of Conduct coming into effect following the announcement of dates for the election.
The Sunday broadcast will be the 111th episode of the radio programme.
In his 110th episode, Modi had urged the first-time voters to poll in record numbers and said their maiden vote should be for the country.
In his last address, Modi spoke about women empowerment and stated that India's Nari Shakti is touching new heights of progress in every field. He also made a mention of the NAMO Drone Didi scheme which was launched by the Centre to help women become integral stakeholders of their local farming supply chains.
