Mangaluru: BJP leader SM Krishna’s son-in-law has been missing since Monday. VG Siddharth, who runs a coffee shop left home for Mangaluru. His family members are in shock as Siddarth’s phone has been switched off since Monday night and he is currently not traceable. The Kannada Police are now making all efforts to find the whereabouts of Sidharth.


As per reports, he had left home for a business trip to Chikkamagalur in his Innova car along with the driver. From there, he was to travel to Kerala. But he asked the driver to stop his car at National Highway in Jeppina Mogaru near Mangaluru and got down from the vehicle. The car driver is said to have told family members that Siddarth asked him to stop the car at Jepoina Mogaru after which he got down from the vehicle. Siddarth was allegedly speaking over the phone when he instructed the driver.



As per the driver, he waited for Siddarth, but when he did not return even after half an hour, the driver made him a call, but his phone was switched off. He informed Siddarth's family about the same immediately.

Siddarth is married to the daughter of former chief minister of Karnataka, SM Krishna. After completing his post graduation, Siddarth started working at JM Financial Limited in Mumbai.



Siddarth's letter to Cafe Coffee Day Management:

Only days before he went missing, Siddarth wrote a letter to the Board of Directors of Coffee Day family and took the onus of various financial loses and poor decisions on himself. He also expressed regret and sought that only he should be blamed and no one else. It further read "My intention wasn't to cheat anyone.  I have failed as an entrepreneur. This is my sincere submission. I hope someday you will forgive and pardon me."
