New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MP Arjun Singh Wednesday hit out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for "conspiring to make West Bengal another Pakistan", reported news agency ANI.

While speaking to reporters post party meeting in Asansol, West Bengal, the BJP leader said that the CM always talks about partition and intends to make the state another Pakistan.

"Mamata Banerjee is conspiring to make West Bengal another Pakistan and this is the reason she and her party leaders talk about partition," said Singh, as reported by ANI.

He held Mamata Banerjee responsible for pushing migrants from Bihar out of the state and shutting down industries.

"The industries that have been shut down in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee has a major role in it. Mamata Banerjee has always been against Biharis. Industries in the state are being shut so that the people from Bihar leave the state and then it will be easy for her to convert West Bengal into Pakistan," he was further quoted.

Singh's accusations did not stop there as he went on to call the CM a supporter of the "Tukde-Tukde" gang.

"Banerjee supports the statement of the "Tukde-Tukde" gang and she somewhere wants that the state becomes another Pakistan," said Singh.

Member Of Parliament from Barrackpore Lok Sabha seat of West Bengal, Arjun Singh was in Asansol to attend a party meeting.

Bypoll to Asansol Lok Sabha seat is scheduled on April 12 along with four other assemblies. The Trinamool Congress of Mamata Banerjee has fielded Shatrughan Sinha, once a staunch BJP supporter, from the constituency.
