Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena head, has mocked the NCP and Sharad Pawar over Ajit Pawar's support for the BJP. Raj Thackeray stated that Sharad Pawar is aware of all of this when Ajit Pawar became deputy CM in the Shinde cabinet, and it's merely political drama, news agency PTI reported.
Speaking on political situation in Maharashtra, MNS Chief stated: " "Whatever Dilip Walse Patil, Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal are claiming, it could not have happened without the knowledge of Sharad Pawar. This is a political drama."
Earlier on Sunday, Raj Thackeray had stated that NCP President Sharad Pawar desired to be free of the 'Uddhav Burden.' He further stated that the dirt of Maharashtra politics is currently in front of the country. “Sharad Pawar wanted to take down the burden of Uddhav Thackeray, the first issue of it was completed today. Pawar's (nationalist) first team left for power, as soon as possible the second one will join for the power step!,” Thackeray tweeted.
“As the rest of the people of Maharashtra are sure that they are idle and selfish, will all these games for the throne of power continue like this or will the people of Maharashtra stop this disgusting politics of power in the coming elections?” Raj Thackeray further stated.
A day after his party faced rebellion, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar on Monday said that he will rebuild the party and that he has the support of people. “If the love of the public continues, then we will change the entire scenario,” he said.
He said that Ajit Pawar’s decision to side with the Shinde-Fadnavis government was his “personal” one and that his words have no importance. On Sunday, Sharad Pawar’s nephew and NCP leader Ajit Pawar broke the rank and file of the party and took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
