The BJP had announced the name of candidates for 125 seats.
In a joint statement issued by the BJP and the Shiv Sena on Monday, it was announced that the seat-sharing had been finalised between the alliance partners.

Aaditya Thackeray, the son of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, will be debuting in the elections and will be contesting from Worli assembly seat.

Maharashtra will go to polls on October 21 and the results will be declared on October 24.
The last date of filing nomination papers is October 4, while the date for their scrutiny is October 5. Nominations can be withdrawn till October 7.
