Five months after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for the first time on Sunday broke his silence over the ongoing row and launched a scathing attack against Bharatiya Janata Party, actress Kanagana Ranaut and others who levelled serious allegations against Maharashtra government.  ALSO READ | Is Rest Of The Country Pakistan Or Bangladesh? While addressing Shiv Sena’s annual Dussehra rally in Mumbai, Chief Minister said, "Someone who committed suicide is now a Bihar son. He may be, but because of him, you maligned sons of Maharashtra."

saying, "those crying for justice had accused the Mumbai Police of being useless and even called the city PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir). They are painting such picture that there are drug addicts everywhere but they don't know in our house we grow tulsi not ganja."

Earlier today, Thackeray questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party over their poll promise of free covid-19 vaccine for people in Bihar. He asked whether the rest of the country is considered Pakistan or Bangladesh by the party, that vaccines will be given free of the cost only in Bihar.

“You are talking about giving free vaccines in Bihar. Is rest of the country Pakistan or Bangladesh? Those speaking like that should be ashamed of themselves. You are at the centre,” Uddhav Thackeray said.
