Lucknow: On the occassion of Kanshi Ram’s death anniversary, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) held a massive rally here in the state capital in which its chief Mayawati came out with all guns blazing at BJP, Congress and Samajwade Party (SP).


Targeting at present SP government Mayawati said, situation of law and order was saddening in UP, and added, crores of rupees were spent on advertisements without any real benefit to the people.

"Whatever little work of development is being done in UP by SP govt was all started by BSP government", said BSP chief.

She also targeted PM Narendra Modi led BJP government and said-"Narendra Modi government faked people."

"Modi government hasn't fulfilled its promises," she added.

In Modi government not only Muslims but also Dalits were targeted, said Mayawati while mentioning about Rohith Vemula death case.

It is the tenth death anniversary of its founder Kanshi Ram on Sunday.

The party had claimed that eight to 10 lakh party workers will swept the city.

The party had booked more than a dozen trains and thousand vehicles to bring supporters and workers to Lucknow's Kanshi Ram Eco Garden where the party chief Mayawati addressed the supporters.

According to a Northern Railway release, an advisory was issued to passengers traveling on Sunday to avoid the rush. It has also made some changes in the platform numbers for halting of major trains like Lucknow Mail, Mahamana Express and Garib Rath among others.

The BSP leaders have been holding meetings in all the areas of the state to mobilise their supporters and a minimum of 10,000 supporters are expected to attend the rally, party sources claimed.
