NEW DELHI: Love engulfed country's major telecom operators on Tuesday as taking sarcasm to another level Reliance Jio wished its competitors 'Happy Valentine's Day' on Twitter.

Ideal cellular, Vodafone India and Bharti Airtel were taken by surprise with Jio posting on Twitter, "Dear @airtelindia, @VodafoneIN, @ideacellular, Happy Valentine’s Day. #WithLoveFromJio."

The tweet fetched no response for a while from the three telecom operators, which are facing a tough competition after the launch of Jio, sending the newly launched service in a tizzy whether the 'trio' liked its presence or not.
But later Idea replied, "@reliancejio Same to you! Nice to know that love is in the air today. @airtelindia @VodafoneIN."

"Same feels @reliancejio! After all #HarEkFriendZarooriHotaHai ???? @VodafoneIN @ideacellular," Airtel tweeted.
