'Lord Shiva Lives In Hills, Vishnu In Ocean, What Do Men Have?' BJP MLA Says On Women Empowerment

Lord Shiva lives in the mountains, and Lord Vishnu in the ocean, so people turn to the goddesses when they seek help with knowledge or wealth, BJP MLA Bhagat said.

New Delhi: Goddess Lakshmi for wealth, Saraswati for knowledge, what do men have Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Banshidhar Bhagat asked as he spoke on the issue of women empowerment. He said Lord Shiva lives in the mountains, and Lord Vishnu in the ocean, so people turn to the goddesses when they seek help with knowledge or wealth.

“For knowledge, seek Goddess Saraswati's blessings. For power, get Goddess Durga's blessings&for wealth pray to Goddess Lakshmi. What does a man have? Lord Shiva lives in mountains, and Lord Vishnu in the deep ocean. Women empowerment prevails since long ago,” ANI quoted Bhagat as saying.
