New Delhi: Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday announced major appointments across its party wings.
Several leaders including Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Dushyant Gautam, Sunil Bansal, and Jay Panda were appointed as in-charge of the ruling party's various departments.
BJP national president JP Nadda has appointed new morcha in-charges for the party's various wings:
- Sunil Bansal is in-charge of Yuva Morcha
- Vinod Tawde is in-charge of OBC Morcha
- Jay Panda is in-charge of Mahila Morcha
- Bandi Sanjay is in-charge of Kisan Morcha
- Tarun Chugh is in-charge of SC Morcha
- Radha Mohan Das Agarwal is in-charge of ST Morcha

The new in-charges have been appointed with immediate effect.
In the last week of December, BJP chief JP Nadda chaired a two-day meeting of BJP's national office-bearers, which was attended by state chiefs, general secretaries, in-charges, and other office-bearers.
The ruling party took stock of its preparedness for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and chalked out its upcoming programmes.
In the meeting, the party’s various ‘morcha’ (wings) and state units shared details of their ongoing organisational exercises and would be given directions by senior leaders with an eye on the polls.
In preparation for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for the battle to secure a third term.
During a meeting of senior party leaders held in New Delhi on Tuesday, the BJP has adopted a new slogan for the General elections.
According to sources, the party's rallying cry for the elections is "Teesri Baar Modi Sarkar, Ab Ki Baar 400 Paar (Modi government for the third term, this time will cross 400 seats)".
The newly coined slogan reflects the BJP's ambitious target to secure over 400 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
