New Delhi: The last rituals of the four members of an Indian family found dead in the Manitoba province a few days ago will be performed in Canada.
Jashwant Patel, a relative of the family, said the last rituals will be performed in Canada, ANI reported.
The family members have been identified as residents of Dingucha village of Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.
“I got to know that today morning the Canadian government has clarified that the four members of an Indian family found dead near the US-Canada border a few days ago have been identified as residents of Dingucha village,” said Jayesh Chaudhari, Village Talati (Patwari).

The Canadian authorities are now investigating the circumstances in which they reached the Canada-US border.
A case of human trafficking is also under probe, PTI reported.
The deceased were identified as Jagdish Patel (39), his wife Vaishali Patel (37) their daughter Vihangi Patel (11) and their son Dharmik Patel (3).
The family had travelled to Canada on January 12.
According to reports, the family was allegedly trying to enter the US illegally when they froze to death in the Manitoba province of Canada on January 19.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is investigating the case with help of other agencies.
The people of Canada have been urged to help in investigating the conditions in which the family travelled from Toronto to Emerson, Manitoba.
The RCMP has asked the people to inform them if anyone had any interaction with the family.
