New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti shared a health update on him. She took to Twitter to share the update. ”All your prayers boosted my father's morale and made him feel better. Today Papa has said many thanks to all of you!” she wrote.






Yadav, who underwent a kidney transplant in Singapore has long been suffering from various health issues and the doctors attending to him had advised a kidney transplant.


Bihar CM Nitish Kumar also spoke on Lalu Prasad Yadav's health and said he is fine and It is a matter of happiness that everything went well. “He is fine. It's a matter of happiness that everything went well. Doctors have also said that he is fine. I have also spoken to Tejashwi Yadav,” Nitish Kumar said.


Last month, Bihar deputy CM said that his sister's kidney was found to be the best match, and the family went ahead with the decision.


"The doctors wanted someone from the family to donate a kidney to my father. My sister Rohini's kidney was the best match, so we went ahead with it," Tejashwi told reporters in Patna on Sunday. Speaking about her decision to donate a kidney to her father, the RJD chief's daughter in November said that she considers herself extremely fortunate that she can contribute a small part of her life to save his life.


She posted a series of tweets on her decision to donate a kidney to her father. "My father brought me up and means everything to me. I will consider myself to be extremely fortunate to contribute a small part of my life to save his life," Rohini tweeted.
