New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday mocked news reports which stated that Kumar Vishwas is set to join the BJP.

A report said Vishwas, who had contested the Lok Sabha elections on an AAP ticket from Amethi against Rahul Gandhi and Smriti Irani, is keen on contesting from Sahibabad seat in Ghaziabad district of UP. The talks are in the advanced stage, it added.

Dismissing reports of hobnobbing with BJP, Vishwas himself took to Twitter to take a jibe at ‘bhakts’.

AAP leader Kapil Mishra also tweeted sarcastically asking whether BJP chief Amit Shah is joining Aam Aadmi Party.

Delhi Deputy CM also ridiculed news reports saying that he had information that Narendra Modi would be joining Congress after UP polls and he had already met Rahul Gandhi.

Controversial leader Vishwas has always hogged attention for being unhappy with AAP and joining other parties, a charge he has till date denied.

In 2014, BJP had dismissed Vishwas' claim that a BJP member of Parliament had told him he would be made Chief Minister of Delhi if he joined the saffron party to help it form a government.
