Over 4.76 lakh students had appeared for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations at various centres in Kerala, the Gulf and Lakshadweep islands.
Among 4,76,373 students, 2,33,034 of them girls, are appeared for this year's exams in 2903 centres,
The students are from goverment, aided and unaided schools.
Of the regular students, 4,72,921 wrote the examination in the state, while 583 children appeared for the exam in nine Gulf centres and 813 from few centres in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
