Mumbai: Hours after Lok Sabha MP from Himachal Pradesh Ram Swaroop Sharma was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his official residence, there were speculations doing rounds on social media that Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut may contest elections on Bharatiya Janata Party's ticket from Mandi constituency.
After Sharma's tragic and suspicious death, political researcher Dr. Chiguru Prashanth took to Twitter and predicted that Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will contest the election from Mandi Lok Sabha Constituency.
However, the actress - who hails from Mandi district - refuted to the claim and denied contesting polls. She rather expressed a larger dream of contesting elections from a place that is more complex. Himach Pradesh, she believes, has no proverty or crime.
Reacting to the tweet, Ranaut wrote: "I was given the option of Gwalior during 2019 Loksabha elections, HP population is hardly 60/70 lakhs, no poverty/crime."
Known for her verbose reactions, Kangana further went on to say that if she gets into politics, she would want a state with complexities she could work on and be the Queen. "If I get into politics I want a state with complexities I can work on and be the Queen I am in that field also. Small fry like you won’t understand big talks," she wrote further.
Further hitting out at the researcher for a mere prediction, Kangana wrote: "Every fool that is trying to milk tragedy that took place in HP with regards to one of the politicians death today. Must read this and see my level before doing small talks about me.Remember when you talk about Babbar Sherni Rajputana Kangana Ranaut. No small talks only big talks."
Meanwhile, Kangana has managed to hog the limelight on social media with her controversial and surly remarks against several Bollywood celebrities and even politicians. She has been talk of the town ever since she rebelled against a section of Hindi film industry and accused it of supressing outside talent.
Not to forget, the Manikarnika actress also went on to compare herself to Hollywood inconic stars such as Meryl Streep and Gal Gadot.
