Kalyan Singh Health Update: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday enquired about the health of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh who got admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow.


After seeing Kalyan Singh in SGPGI, Rajnath Singh tweeted and said, "Going to PGI Hospital in Lucknow, got information about the health condition of Shri Kalyan Singh ji. I pray to God for his speedy recovery.



Kalyan Singh's condition remains critical


The condition of Kalyan Singh (89) remains critical, he has been admitted to the SGPGI and has been put on life support. According to the health bulletin issued by SGPGI on Wednesday morning, the health condition of Kalyan Singh is critical. He has been put on a life support system since Tuesday evening.


According to the statement of SGPGI, senior doctors of various departments are constantly monitoring the health of the former Chief Minister and taking care of all aspects related to his health.


SGPGI Director Professor R. K. Dhiman is closely monitoring Kalyan Singh's treatment. It is noteworthy that Kalyan Singh, who was the Governor of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, was admitted to SGPGI on July 4 due to infection and neem unconsciousness. He was earlier being treated at Ram Manohar Lohia Medical Institute.


On Tuesday afternoon, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel had reached SGPGI to meet ailing Kalyan Singh. Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath had reached the hospital to check up on Kalyan Singh.
