Of the 10, four belonged to Lashkar-E-Taiba while the other six were providing them assistance in the Valley. Two of them were apprehended during an encounter.
Police say these militants were involved in the killing of three young civilians in Baramulla on April 30.
The killing prompted security forces to launch a major operation to nab the militants that lasted for at least seven days.
Reports say multiple hideouts were also busted during the operation which led to the seizure of the weapons.
