J&K: One dose of the Covid-19 vaccine is mandatory for entry to shopping malls, restaurants, public transport, government offices and public places. The J&K administration order came into effect from yesterday. The Deputy Commissioner of Jammu had on September 20 appealed to every eligible citizen to get vaccinated against the corona virus. He had informed that vaccination centres will remain open six days a week except Wednesday.
One dose of covid-19 vaccine mandatory
Quoting the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, ANI tweeted, "A single dose of covid-19 vaccine will be mandatory for government offices, shopping malls, public transport and other public places in Jammu from October 2."
The administration in the Union Territory has also relaxed the restrictions imposed due to Corona. Shops and other institutions in Jammu have been allowed to remain open till 10 pm, while wedding ceremonies have been restricted to 50 people.
Earlier, schools have been allowed to reopen with certain conditions and rules for classes 12th and 10th. 12th class schools have been opened with a capacity of 50 per cent. 10th standard students can attend the class offline but schools will have to follow the appropriate guidelines pertaining to Covid-19. School students and staff have been ordered to get vaccinated against the Coronavirus. Higher educational institutions have also been allowed to start in an offline mode.
