Jammu: A major terrorist attack was averted in Jammu after the Jammu-Kashmir police arrested an operative allegedly belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and recovered 6 Kgs of improvised explosive device (IED).

Security has been beefed up across Jammu following the arrest of the suspect. While the arrested person is being interrogated in the matter, the early inputs suggest that the LeT outfit operative planned to plant the explosive at some crowded place.
