"Younis Ahmad Dar (26) and his brother Faisal Hassan Dar (18) loaded their truck bearing registration No (JK03D-7806) on 14th of November and left for Kanpur," their cousin, Rahil Bashir said.

He said that till November 18 "we were in contact with them as they had loaded the truck with leather in Kanpur and were coming back."

Rahil said that since November 18, they are continuously trying to make contact with their siblings but their phones are coming repeatedly off.

"We received their last call on 18th November as they told us they are coming back," he said.

He said that "we have tried every friend, drivers of our locality but couldn't get any clue about them."

The family members of the missing duo have requested officials to help them in tracing the duo as they are very much worried about their well-being. The family has lodged an FIR both in Kulgam and in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh where the truck was last seen.

Police have started investigations as the security is already on a high alert and may have been involved in any anti-national activities.

However, the family clarified that the truck in which the two brothers were travelling was a Trawler type and was outside J&K borders since last one week.
