Jammu and Kashmir: 2 Terrorists Killed As Security Forces Foil Infiltration Bid In Nov'23

In a similar incident that occurred in November last year, two terrorists were killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri after an encounter broke out between security forces and the infiltrators.

The security forces thwarted an infiltration bid attempt along the Line of Control in Uri in Baramulla's district. During the operation, two terrorists were neutralised by the security forces, who also recovered incriminating materials, arms and ammunition.

The security forces recovered two pistols, four hand grenades, and war-like stores during the operation.

After the police officials were alerted about the terrorist movement, they conducted a search operation in the Parigam area. Following this, there was a firing exchange between the terrorists and security forces, after which the search was intensified.
