New Delhi: The Sikh community in the funeral procession of Supinder Kaur, one of the two teachers who was shot and killed by the terrorists in Srinagar on Thursday, were raising slogans against "The Resistance Front" (TRF) as they were carrying the mortal remains of slain teacher for last rites on Friday, ANI reported.


"Mortal remains of Supinder Kaur, killed in yesterday's targeted killing by terrorists in Srinagar, being taken for last rites, slogans against "The Resistance Front" (TRF) being raised during the funeral procession in Srinagar," ANI tweeted on Friday along with a video clip of the funeral procession of Supinder Kaur.






Earlier on Thursday, two teachers were killed in a terrorist attack at a government school in the Eidgah area of Srinagar. Amongst the slain teachers was the principal of the school, Supinder Kaur, and a Kashmiri Pandit teacher, Deepak Chand.


In relation to the killings of two government teachers, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Forum on Friday staged a protest in Jammu against Pakistan, ANI reported.






While warning those who are aiding and abetting terrorists, J-K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that every drop of innocent civilian blood will be avenged.


Previously, a businessman was killed by terrorists in Srinagar on Tuesday evening. The incident took place near Iqbal Park in Srinagar where terrorists fired upon the owner of Bindroo Medicate namely, Makhan Lal Bindroo, a Kashmiri Pandit. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
