With Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the celebrations of the 8th International Day of Yoga at Mysuru Palace in Karnataka on Tuesday, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawans performed Yoga at various high-altitude locations around the country. The ITBP has shared a couple of videos on their Twitter handle, which show the ITBP personnel performing Yoga at the height of 17,000 feet in Ladakh.


The jawans from various regiments performed Yoga on various hilly terrains including Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.






The Indo-Tibetan Border Police dedicate a song on International Yoga Day promoting the practice of yoga.



Similar sessions of Yoga practice were organised for Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at 16,500 feet in Himachal Pradesh. The ITBP was practicing Yoga at two locations in Uttarakhand 14,500 feet and at 16,000 feet

The jawans have also performed Yoga on the snow-capped mountains at 17,000 feet on International Yoga Day and at the Eastern tip of Arunachal Pradesh.










The 33 Battalion ITBP performed yoga in front of the Brahmaputra River at Lachit Ghat, Guwahati.
