New Delhi: Indian Railways has announced that it will start issuing limited waiting tickets for the special passenger trains that started running from Tuesday.
The changes will be applicable for the trains starting from May 22, the bookings for it will begin from May 15.
Railways have also decided that there shall be no reservation against cancellation (RAC) on these special trains. Also, it has been decided that waiting list tickets will be issued based on the maximum limits listed below:

Indian Railways has also announced some additional decisions with respect to these special passenger trains which include:
- Other rules concerning the waiting list will be applicable.
- No Tatkal/Premium Tatkal Quotas will be defined.
- Senior Citizen Quota, Ladies Quota and Quota for Divyangjans(HP) will be defined as per extant instructions.
- The refund rules i.e. cancellation up to 24 hours with a refund of 50% of the fare and NIL refund within 24 hours of train departure will be discontinued and extant refund rules i.e. Railways Cancellation and Refund rule 2015 will be made applicable.
- The above changes shall be made applicable for the trains starting on May 22, 2020 i.e. booking for which will commence from May 15, 2020.
